CHRISTIAN MONTENEGRO
(just 100 pixels to the left here wearing a cool London Police tee)

He was but a wee nipper when his exceptional talent started getting him noticed, not least by Alberto Breccia (that's THE legendary Argentinian veteran of comic art to you and me), under who's tuition he studied illustration. After making a name for himself in Argentina, he became recognised around the world on the back of his contribution to Die Gestalten Verlag's fantastic illustrated Grimm's Fairy Tales, going on to publish his very own version of The Creation (the Christian one). Conquering Barcelona for the first time this April, his "Imaginary Beings" will take on a whole new form, bringing a more character-driven, illustrative style to the Maxalot graphic repertoire. -- --
